A massive congratulations to Stuart Burriss for being awarded Life Membership of Toorak Basketball Club. Stuart helped found the Club back in 2006 and has been the driving force behind our success ever since.
Stuart's leadership and passion has seen the Club grow from one team in 2006 to over 28 teams and almost 200 players in 2021. Most importantly, Stuart has always focused on ensuring the kids have fun and develop as young people, not just basketball players.
In addition to his enormous contribution to Toorak Basketball Club, Stuart has also found time to raise 5 amazing children with his wife Ivy, coach representative level teams with the Melbourne Tigers, be a board member with Port Phillip Basketball Association and volunteer with the SES.
We are so grateful for Stuart's involvement in the Club and we were delighted to award him our very first Life Membership at our annual end of year awards and BBQ.
